Welcome
I am Dr Jonti Bloomberg, a psychodynamically orientated educational psychologist and philosophical counsellor. I hold an MEd in Educational Psychology from Wits and a PhD in Philosophy from Stellenbosch University.
Attending therapy can be an overwhelming and anxiety-provoking experience, and I strive to offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space in which we can explore the concerns you wish to address.

Psychotherapy
Short and long-term therapy for adolescents, adults, couples and families. My approach is psychodynamic: we look at how past experiences, relationships and patterns shape the way you think, feel and relate today.
Psycho-educational assessments
Full assessments for learners of all ages, to understand how a learner thinks and learns, where their strengths lie, and what support would help.
Philosophical counselling
Logic-based therapy for adolescents and adults who would like to explore their concerns from a philosophical stance, rather than a medical model.
